What a summer it’s been. The hen parties have ranged from small and elegant to big and wild, and everything in between! I started the summer with a trip to Essex and delivered a nice low key party for the maid of honours mum, who had always wanted to have a go at life drawing. I was then in the other side of the country in Cumbria for an outdoor hen do of 26 ladies where I was literally surrounded by bursts of laughter for the full 2 hours. It was a very fun afternoon but definitely one of the more risqué ones I’ve done! Some of the questions I was asked were hilarious, but I’ll maybe save those for another blog post.
Trips to Kettering, Morcombe, Nottingham and Chesterfield followed, and then a long drive down to Canterbury. One of my favourite hen parties was in Nantwich where the hen party had such a fun time they kindly asked me to stay for the evening and join their hen celebrations. I was even invited to join them in the hot tub which was a very nice way to spend the evening!
Another memorable hen party was in a small town called Millom in Cumbria where the activities went on far longer than usual (well into the early hours). It was such a lovely group of hens, who were very sweet afterwards with their feedback, and full of compliments which made me blush!
Many of the pictures from these parties can be seen in the Hen Party Gallery which give a glimpse into some of what happens at the parties. But as I’ve said in a previous blog post, I don’t like to give too much away! Needless to say though it’s all in the name of creativity and fun.
Some weekends I’ve done as many as three parties so as you can imagine by Monday morning I’m a little tired! But it’s great to know I’ve given the ladies I entertain a truly memorable experience (see some of the feedback here).
